MEJOIN presented as one of 10 research networks at the BMBF Forum International in Berlin

On June 1, 2019, the Mechatronic Joint Initiative „MEJOIN“ – a German-Japanese research marketing campaign between FAPS, Cluster Mechatronik & Automation e.V., Saitama City Foundation for Business Creation and the Advanced Institute of Innovative Technology at Saitama University – will start. The cooperation aims to exchange research trends and market potential on the topic of artificial intelligence in the working world and to make them accessible to small and medium-sized companies from the fields of mechatronics, mechanical and plant engineering and related fields in the respective partner country.

For this project, MEJOIN was selected as one of 10 research networks for funding via the BMBF research marketing campaign „The Future of Work“. On May 20, the first qualification workshop of the BMBF umbrella campaign took place in Berlin, focusing on the basics of international research marketing.

From 21-22 May 2019, MEJOIN was presented at the BMBF Forum International in Berlin with a project poster on the exhibition space and with a short presentation within the regional workshop Japan. The event enabled networking with the other research networks and offered a variety of keynote speeches from politics, research and industry on the topic „The Future of Work“.
Further information on the research networks can be found here.
